Overview

OAuth.name's administration dashboard provides a comprehensive interface for managing your web application's Telegram SSO integration. From creating and managing your OAuth.name application to configuring user permissions and viewing activity logs, the administration dashboard streamlines the entire process of integrating Telegram SSO into your web application.

Creating an OAuth.name Application

To begin using OAuth.name, you'll need to create an OAuth.name application. This application will represent your web application and be used to generate OAuth.name client IDs and secrets, which are essential for authenticating users with Telegram.

To create an OAuth.name application, follow these steps:

  • Navigate to the OAuth.name administration dashboard.

  • Click on the "Create Application" button.

  • You will be redirected to a newly created application.

Managing Your OAuth.name Application

Once your OAuth.name application has been created, you can manage its settings and configuration from the administration dashboard. This includes:

  • Retrieving Application IDs and Secrets: Obtain the OAuth.name application ID and secret for your application, which will be required for integrating Telegram SSO into your web application.

  • Configuring Redirect URLs: Specify the redirect URL that OAuth.name will use to redirect users back to your web application after successful authentication.

  • Managing User Permissions: Assign user permissions to define the level of access that users have to your application's resources.

  • Adding Application Logo URL: Add url to a logo image that represents your application and associate it with your OAuth.name application. This logo will be displayed throughout the Telegram SSO flow, enhancing user recognition and branding.

Configuring User Permissions

OAuth.name allows you to granularly control user permissions within your web application. This ensures that users only have access to the resources they need, enhancing security and protecting sensitive data.

To configure user permissions, follow these steps:

  • Navigate to the "Access control" section of the administration dashboard.

  • Click on the "Add permission" button.

  • Search for users and assign them appropriate permissions.

Viewing Activity Log

The administration dashboard provides an activity log that records all application's logins. This log is invaluable for troubleshooting issues, auditing user activity, and ensuring the security of your web application.

To view the activity log, follow these steps:

  • Navigate to the "Activity Log" section of the administration dashboard.

  • Filter the log based on username.
